Transaction completed; Navadan is now a part of Wilhelmsen Ships Service.

The announced transaction for Wilhelmsen Ships Service to take over the ownership of Navadan has been completed, and we are glad to share that we have become part of the Wilhelmsen group. With its vast global maritime supply network, Ships Service is the perfect platform for us to grow and take our customer offering to the next level.

Navadan will retain its brand and operate as a fully owned subsidiary of Ships Service for this first period after the completion of the agreement, with no immediate changes for customers, suppliers, or partners. Moving forward, the two teams will spend an initial period together to learn and join forces and define how the best of both Navadan and Ships Service can be combined into something that customers will appreciate even more. After selling the company to Wilhelmsen Ships Service, Peter Krogh passed the torch to new Managing Director Benjamin Juel Kierkegaard. “Benjamin has been with us for seven-plus years, and we are following the plan laid down three years ago.  Since then, he has gradually taken over and proved that he is ready to take Navadan to the next level and build Navadan 3.0. I believe that with Kierkegaard as Managing Director and my choice of Wilhelmsen as the buyer, we have created the basis for an excellent workplace for our employees, a significant portfolio of products for our customers, and stronger cooperation with our suppliers,” says Peter Krogh.
